Thoroughly enjoyed this game.

Only thing I didn't care for is that you can't see the chapter selection until after the game ends. I don't want to be able to skip ahead. I would just like to know how many chapters there are while I am playing so I know how far along I am in the game. (For those of you wondering, there are 14 chapters plus end credits.)

HUGE thanks to the developers for making this a one-time purchase game and not the IAP that's plaguing the App Store. Another huge thanks for the lack of advertisements and pop ups begging for a rating. These are people who understand the love of the game, rather than greed or self-promotion. Sadly, far too rare in the App Store.

And finally, to those (few) reviewers who have complained that the game is too short, I would disagree. I'm a dad with a full time job. That means I'm not overflowing with free time. I appreciate a game that I can play in a single afternoon. For me the game was the perfect length.

First, it is beautiful. Some of the scenes are like lovely watercolors. It is not easy, and not hard, it just requires you to think differently. If you get stuck you really, really just need to think outside of the box. I still gave it 5 stars even though I SO, so, so wish it had an alternate ending option so I could let the kids play. It did have a happy end, end...but ... It was actually worth the price because of how beautifully it was crafted. You may think it is a one time game but I bet you will eventually come back to do it again...even WITH the known ending. I loved the silly sheep. The care, the beauty, and the odd physics here at play were surely agonized over. Spoiler: ..........................................................................thank the stars he did not drown....

Ive not had a chance to play alot the first 5 scenes so far but I can tell already its a master piece and is playable art. This game follows a old man and his journey. It is very emotional game and that is what makes it so impressive you get no instructions either and that is how it should be the player figures it out and that alone is stellar game design. The graphics and music is art through and through. It looks like your playing a living painting. It is short i guess according to reviews but that is not why you play the game who cares if its short it is the emotions it instills in the player and it is fun and engaging and worth the blood sweat and tears put into this title.

If you are looking for hard, challenging puzzles this is not the game for you.

If you are looking to be moved and immersed in a beautiful storybook world this is your game. This is one of those rare gems that perfectly defines and redefines what the smart phone can deliver in casual gaming. I was enthralled especially when I walked to the precipice and had the ocean waves crashing below! Just amazing!!

These guys need to create a Lord of the Rings game that allows the user to experience Middle Earth in this fashion with this type of art. It would be a best seller.

I am not done with it yet. However, I'm glued to it. I don't want to finish it in a day so I'm waiting a bit. I just finished the part where the Old Man descended into the lake after walking on a water fall.

There is so much symbolism in this story.

It's not action pact. It's not filled with scary tactics or drama. It's an easy going story book...with pictures instead of words. The story is captivating and full of emotion. If that's not for you, don't bother downloading.

My only complaint: The "puzzles"'of moving the land isn't hard at all.

Those complaining about the simplicity of this game are missing the point. This is somewhere between a game, a story and a meditation. It's like a wonderful meal: you don't wolf it down like an animal. I cried at the end. The art is beautiful and very responsive to the player's touch and I loved very much that this much care, thought and texture has gone into a game where you don't kill anything. One of the best I've ever played and absolutely worth the $5. Would also be wonderful to play as a family.

As some have mentioned this game is short and no super hard, but the story is moving, and the art and animation is stunning! Loved the game play. It's unique and relaxing, allowing you to sit back and enjoy your time playing.

If you will spend money to watch a movie for an hour or two, why not support an amazing team of artists and developers who have put some serious work into making a beautiful game.

The artistry and thought provoking journey is set up to be more savored than rushed. Something we are all probably lacking these days. It has interesting and unique navigation along the way. It could easily have expansion staying in theme like the Room games have done. This is a brief game so a tad expensive in comparison based on its complexity. It is however delightful.

Don't understand some of the negative reviews. Great mechanics and art with a good story. Very relaxing. Nice to have a relaxing game that isn't just rapid button mashing. It is like going on a relaxing hike with memories. Thanks so much to the developers for putting this on iOS.

I wasn't to sure about the game because of the price, but it was well worth it! I have never played a game anything like this before. The artwork was beautiful and so was the story that went along with it. I enjoyed every moment of this game.

I wish there were more games like this one. To me, The story and artwork in the game were primary: the gaming aspect was secondary- it was something I had to do to in order to advance the chronicle. It is astonishing to see such creativity.

To not be interrupted with ads and asked to buy more. People will balk at the price, but these same idiots will get a " free" game and act surprised when they are asked to pay , or are inundated with ads

I did find it frustrating that the settings were so hard to locate, but overall it was an excellent, immersive experience — and great art!

My father recently passed away and I had no idea what the game was about before going into it. Coming out, I'm just full of emotions.

Easily one of the most beautiful and moving games I've ever played.

A game with heart and beauty. It isn't a test of how well you can shoot a gun or properly twist your fingers, it's simply a game of puzzles and reflection. I've never enjoyed a game this much.

Because this is a nice piece of work in all kinds of ways ... And, really, a journey is what we all do here on this little round world...
Maybe even a world cruise?

I wish the game was longer I finished in just over a day but it is a beautifully made game. A beautiful story and art and puzzles.

A pleasant, low pressure, light diversion. Wouldn't mind a longer game, but the quality is superb.
