Works fine for me

Love the app, I haven't had any issues whatsoever with it. There's a 15 second ad when you start watching an event and any normal ads you would usually get on the tele. But when you watch the events from the tab there's no ads during competition at all.
Not sure what everyone's problem is. Probably a heap of baby boomers having a whinge because they can't work technology. "Back in my day we got all the coverage in the world with one channel to watch it on and one tv in the house"...
Look at your internet speed before blaming the app.
