TheTreeApp SA は、南アフリカの在来木と外来種の木を識別するためのスマートフォンやタブレット用の洗練されたツールです。

第 2 版は、オリジナルバージョン (簡単な英語用語) と植物バージョン (古典的な植物用語) の両方を含む 2 イン 1 アプリです。したがって、1 年に 1 つのサブスクリプション料金を支払うだけで、アプリの両方のバージョンを受け取ることになります。ユーザーはアプリのホーム画面でバージョンを切り替えることができます。言語の違いは、検索、テキスト、キャプションに適用されます。どちらのバージョンにも、南アフリカのすべての木、すべての種のアートワーク、写真、地図が含まれています。

TheTreeApp South Africa Second Edition is the ultimate tree identification app to discover and identify South African indigenous trees. The app includes full descriptions, as well as uses and gardening information for over 1000 trees. The app contains over 6000 photographs, as well as paintings, drawings, and distribution maps. Also included are 135 commonly encountered larger more invasive alien trees.

TheTreeApp South Africa boasts an award-winning smart Search tool for easy identification using leaves, flowers, fruit, and other tree characteristics. Tree characteristics can be randomly selected in any order. Additionally, the interactive Location tool is a game-changer. Selecting a specific location in South Africa will dramatically reduce the number of tree species from over 1000, to the number that can grow there naturally within 12,5 km of the chosen spot or reserve boundaries.

TheTreeApp offers two versions of the app, the plain English Original, or the scientific Botanical and you can effortlessly toggle between them.

Download the app onto your device and buy the full annual subscription version with a click of the button in the app. If you want to evaluate it first, the free downloaded version contains 155 species to test the app before buying. Once loaded, enjoy the app anywhere in the field without internet connectivity.
