Know Your Dentist!

Know Your Dentist is an app which contains information in the form of text and videos about various dental treatments(root canal treatment, dental implant, denture, tooth extraction, wisdom tooth etc.) done at dental clinic. It also contains information about how to take care of your teeth to prevent dental problems such as caries and cavities. Know Your Dentist tries to minimise the gap between dentists and patients.

Know your dentist contains information about following major dental treatments.
- Caries formation and complication
- Scaling, tooth polishing, teeth whitening
- Root canal treatment
- Tooth extraction and complication
- Dental implant
- Bridge cutting and fixation
- Dentures
- Orthodontic, clip / braces
- Wisdom tooth or 3rd molar tooth removal
Each of the above category contains 2-3 short educational videos which explains the dental treatment. Select any relevant category and go through the information.

Every person undergoes some type of dental treatment in his/her life. But rarely patient knows exactly procedure of dental treatment. So patient becomes affraid of pain, patient panic. Dentists try to educate patients, but they have limitations as dental treatments procedures are not visible to patients.

Now you can be your own dentist! Purpose of Know Your Dentist app is to educate people about dental treatments and how to take care of their teeth and minimise the gap between dentist and patients. It also tries to remove fear among people about dental treatments.
