Soothe is a relaxation, concentration and breastfeeding app, by producer DOS4GW. It contains almost an hour of 5 minute long, alpha wave stimulating tracks, all original, designed to help you relax and gain focus.

Importantly, they don't sound like elevator music - they're composed specifically for synthesizer children, coders in noisy offices, and breastfeeding mums who can't deal with another 'Coldplay For Babies' disc.

The app includes a stand alone timer for using to measure things like exercise, yoga, breastfeeding times - whatever you want.

There's also an optional chime which rings every ten minutes so that you don't need to be looking at the app to see how long you've been doing.. whatever it is you're doing. You can also lock the screen to be on, if you need some dim lighting or to stop the phone going to lockscreen.
