by highlighting the next notes or dropping bars on next notes for a visual clue. You just follow the clue and hit the note as guided. That doesn't actually help you learn a song as you are learning one note at a time instead of learning a tune. You will never be able to play a song without guidance with that approach.

To make the learning effective, PianoGuru helps you take small baby steps towards learning a song. Each song is broken down into small verses or sequence which is a sequence of notes. Verses are carefully kept short to help you master one tune at a time. You can easily switch between the verses if you wish to.
