Voca Builder Duo [Android]

Welcome to 3H Learning’s VocaBuilder – Duo (VB – Duo for short!)
VocaBuilder – Solo was essentially a Learning / Coaching App where the App was both a Competitor as well as a Guide. That is, a player will learn from the software and also competes with it! However…..

VocaBuilder – Duo is an APP for competition between Two Players
(Parent Vs Child / Among Siblings / Child Vs Friend)
in one device in the same location.

This video is a demo of VB – Duo with Dual Chips Pool.

The time limit (for each round, like 30 seconds or 60 seconds!) can be set by the players in the beginning of the game itself. Both the players will get the same time limit in each round.

VB – Duo is available both in
.apk version (for playing in android device) and in
.exe version (for playing in laptop / desktop)

Note:
.apk version will run ONLY in one android device and
.exe version will run ONLY in one windows device.

Users are advised to buy and download appropriate version to suit their device requirement.

VB – Duo APP offers 2 options – Common Chips Pool and Dual Chips Pool. In both the options, 90 alphabet chips are available for distribution randomly by the software.

Common Pool Version - When a player clicks the dice button, chips appear in the Chips Pool. When the other player clicks, chips appear in the same common pool! Both the players will find it easier to create word(s) from the same pool of chips (wider choice!).

Users are advised to start playing VB – Duo Common Pool version before moving to the next option.

Dual Pool Version – There are 2 separate pools for each player. When the players click the dice button, chips appear in their individual pool. A Player can form words using chips in their pool only.
90 Chips are randomly distributed to both the players by the software. This option is relatively tougher since the choice of alphabet chips is lesser for the players.

While the earlier version (VB – Solo) has a single idea button, this VB – Duo version has support in the form of Start Hint and End Hint!

The Start Hint button suggests the entire range of words that can be formed by adding the alphabet chips in the pool with the alphabets already in the play area as the starting point.

The End Hint button suggests the entire range of words that can be formed by adding the alphabet chips in the pool with the alphabets already in the play area as the ending point.

In addition to the words suggested as hints, the players can understand the meaning of these words also by clicking the icon next to these words. Similarly, both the players can see each other’s formed words (along with the meaning) that appears as a note pad against each player.

When a player clicks the Start hint or the End hint, he will lose 2 points from his / her score. However, the points one gets by forming the word suggested by the software will be included in their individual score.

When the players agree to close the game, a screen shot of the game’s closing position is given. In addition, two individual reports (of the players) are given with the scores achieved. This report contains both the words formed by the players as well as the words suggested by the software!

Over 20000 words have been fed into the software along with simple meanings suitable for the School children.
