Invite Me [Android]

Invite Me app is designed to create event invites and share across with the acquaintances using the cell numbers. The invitations, if accepted get saved in the cell phone as a reminder and the invitee will be reminded about the event before time as stipulated by the inviter. The app interface is user-friendly so as to create easy event invites.

Inviter will have to create a private or public group to send an event invite to the group. The group will be created and saved on the server. Both the inviter and invitee can see the group that they are a part of. The invitee has an option to exit the group, to avoid any event invites from that group. Further if the user is added again, the group can be reported as a spam by the invitee to block the addition of the user into that group.

The Inviter can create a private group using a password. This feature can be used by organizations or groups which operate in large numbers and instead of adding the users, gives a facility to users to join the group with a password published to that user. Password protection to join a group is provided as an option so that any user doesn't join a closed group randomly without permission. Post joining the group, the user is scheduled to get invites of all the events conducted for that group.

The Inviter can create a public group and this feature can be used by commercials to publish their event which could be an exhibition or sale or any other commercialized event which needs an advertisement. Public event invite is a feature which sends the invite to all the users in surrounding area having similar interests as that of the event category being published. The surrounding area is calculated based on the pin codes as registered by the user. The public invitations appear in the "What's Hot in your area?" page.

A broadcast feature will be available as a part of paid advertisements and the events created out of broadcast will appear in "What's Hot in your area" page of all users irrespective of their interests.

Users can choose to accept or decline any invite sent. Users also have an option to view invitee list and the participants that have accepted or declined the invite.

Example 1 – If a member has hosted a party at his place, he can create an event in the private group of his choice mentioning the event details viz. date, time, venue, purpose etc. All the members of the group will get an event notification under that group, which if they accept gets saved in their mobile phone as a reminder.

Example 2 – If an automobile industry is planning to host an auto-expo exhibition in Pune and creates a public event, then all Invite Me users of Pune get a notification about this exhibition.
