What not many know about, save for the franchise’s base fans, is the fact that the movie was so appreciated that a new movie was spun off it. The 2008 High School Musical: El Desafio Mexico was a hit that it spawned its own teenage star, Jorge Blanco.
Being a star of a musical, Jorge Blanco is, understandably, has a knack in both singing and acting. And that is something, actually! Granted, he was only a supporting cast in the movie but that is enough fuel to burn his fame rocket.After starring in a miniseries and a couple of episodes in some local TV series, Jorge Blanco then went on to become one of the stars invited to a Disney-backed game show.
