[物語のあらすじ]
中国の伝奇小説を原作としたおはなしです。
石のたまごから生まれた主人公は、仙人に弟子入りして死なない術と変化の術を学びます。強い力を手に入れた彼は、天界で大あばれし重いバツをうけます。長い月日が流れ、三蔵法師に出会った彼は仲間たちとともに三蔵法師のおともとして旅をすることになって…。さまざまな苦難を乗りこえながら旅をする仲間たちの冒険のものがたりです。
