Silver Oak College of Engineering and Technology was established in June 2009 and is located near Gota Cross road, S.G. Highway, Ahmedabad. This is a Degree Engineering College, leading to Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. The College is approved by AICTE, Govt. Of India, and is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University. This College also runs IGNOU Courses.

*****SOCET ranked 6th in GTU & 1st in IT among all 126 colleges of Gujarat based on the result of final year in Engineering (2013).

*****First Time in GTU: S4 Centre through 25 students are creating engineering models which will be taught in 1st year by the students of 2nd & 3rd year.

*****The only college in Gujarat to have a SMS system for daily attendance of the students and updating with the same to their parents along with the examination related informations, results, seminar/workshop/expert lectures etc

*****Silver Oak Technical Campus is having more than 4500 Students.

*****Jed-i (Joy of Engineering Design & Innovation) programme was introduced for the first time in the state of Gujarat among all engineering colleges at SOCET. Every student is exposed to design and develop a model on his/her own and presenting it as a project at the end of the semester.

*****The admission on 75% seats (on merit) at SOCET will be done centrally through ACPC (The Admission Committee for professional course). Our Institute code is 077.
