Global Eyewitness Report [Android]

Eyewitness App is a crime reporting mobile application that permit users to report an incident of a crime or any form of misconduct instantly. It lets users store, sync and share captured incidents that are embedded and encrypted with the metadata needed to support the evidence in a court of law.

It helps users determines the most criminal hotspots, find the type, location and time of committed crimes in real time via the eyewitness map with the hope to raise people’s awareness regarding the dangerous locations that have the most frequent crime occurrences within a period of time in order to save lives and properties.

The purpose of eyewitness crime reporting application is to use the power of Law, Science and Technology to help people get Justice, Freedom and to help agencies with real time information that would help them in conducting investigation, managing their resource allocation, improving their forensic analysis and also to help make the world a better place to live.
From now, many individuals would connect through (eyewitness) app to report an incident of a crime or any form of misconduct to any agency of their choice instantly.

The goal of eyewitness crime reporting application is to build a platform that provide a pathway to Justice and Freedom to deliver sustainable and transparent way of judgement that would help people get Justice and Freedom and help agencies with real-time stats for forensic analysis to help tackle insecurity and human right violation of any kind in our communities.

We have been working to build a platform that will give our users total control of their information and we have achieved that objective. We will continue to work on improvements to add more powerful security algorithms that will safe guard the information of our users.

Eyewitness App has four (4) key features:

2. Red Alarm
3. Eye Lens View
4. Emergency Call

Crime Report: is a feature in eyewitness app that permit users to report an incident of a crime or any form of misconduct. When a user submit a complaint, it will go through a review process. After that, the agency that received the complaint will review and make a final decision.
In a situation where by the complaint is approved, the user who made the complaint will be notified about the status of the complaint and it will be available for authorized access. However, if the complaint is rejected, the user who made the complaint will be notified and it will only be available for special access.

Eye Lens View: is another feature in eyewitness app that permit users to report incident of a crime or any form of misconduct that will only exist within 24hrs. This doesn’t require review process, but before any user can submit a complaint via Eye Lens View, they must have subscribed to an agency that support Eye Lens View.

Red Alarm: is another feature in eyewitness app that permit agency to declare a suspect ‘’Wanted’’ or to declare a victim ‘’Missing’’ based on location where they want users to see the Red Alarm campaign with the hope that the users might have credible information that would help the agency in their investigation.

Emergency Call: is another feature in eyewitness app that enable users to make an emergency call to an agency based on location. Users can go through a list of agency based on location and make a call to any agency of their choice.
