Medical data is secured with 256 bit encryption and is both username and password protected. To guarantee patient privacy and ensure HIPPA and other regulatory compliance, the CORAnet servers do not store the actual medical data. It is important to note that individual patients cannot change any data originating from the EMR system. This ensures absolute data integrity. Individual patients are reminded of their appointments and medication intake thereby facilitating individual patients compliance in their care.
