Hoped this would be more of a service offering ongoing reading, but ... EDIT - Per dev response, I was missing how much new content is actually added. It seems the existing series are what get all that attention and not new series, hence my confusion. Only so many of the existing series interest me, so still not quite 5 stars (I'd love to see more light horror and mystery stuff), but clearly they are indeed faithfully adding content. Just isn't immediately apparent from the front page.

I like this app, it's almost as good as Du Chinese for Chinese learning, and the hand-written grammatical explanations are great, though it'd be better if there were grammar review as well, and not just vocab in optional context. Would be great to have other review methods, like speaking, sentence building, multiple choice, etc. Also, I have yet to see any truly advanced material, esp surprising for the news articles. I'd say the material so far is capped at upper intermediate.

Update: I've spent about a month now using this app almost daily. Thanks for the fix, really appreciate the feedback. The content is definitely the best part of this app. One thing I've noticed is that the app freezes, sometimes in the launch screen, sometimes when restoring it from background. The look and feel of the app could also get some more love, the overall UX is not Android like, but maybe I'm asking too much. :)

The notes and tips in the stories that it points out are the most useful part of it, since even if I was able to read these things, there's no way that I would know that a certain nuance was there or that a phrase was being used in a certain way unless someone pointed it out to me. This app is perfect!

Omg. Greatest Japanese learning app out there. Hats off to all the devs <3. It's like having multiple privates tutor right next to me while I read (I mean the sound function, explanations and guidance along each sentence/passage are just what I've been looking for my entire language learning career)

Very useful App, at the utmost very good service by the developer or the Support Team. But sometimes there is a glitch while logging in, hopefullly that will be considered and fixed. Thank You.

I would like to see direct integration with Anki (direct as in right click-->send to anki) but the app is very well done....

Great content. User interface needs a little more polish to get to articles more quickly from startup.

Please make dark mode possible.
