Urban STeP is a Stakeholders' platform for interactions with various organisation related to planning and development at the ward level.

This Platform enables Stakeholders'

To voice their opinions, provide requirements, give suggestions and feedback on planning of various wards.
Would bridge gap between people and government agencies for improved governance
Would also be a comprehensive guide to events, ideas and actions that impact the local area.
Participatory planning is an urban planning paradigm that facilitates involvement of local community from the initial stage of local area plan preparation for efficient and responsive urban planning or community-level planning processes. The Participatory Strategic Planning process is a consensus-building approach that enables community to voice their opinions of how they want their local area to develop over the next few years. The participatory planning method has its roots in the United States which has also influenced western European countries over the years.
