I'm a Posh Addict
I've been on Posh for over a year and have met the founders and also the staff several times. They recently celebrated their 2 year anniversary and invited any users that wanted to come, to join them at their HQ in Menlo Park, CA. Okay really? What ecommerce site does that!? None! Why do they? The reason in my opinion is because they recognize the value of treating their users like a community and not just a source of revenue. Their message is respect, patience, and caring about each other.
Manish, the founder himself, asked us our thoughts at Poshfest in 2013 and really wanted to hear what we liked and what could be improved. They are continually looking for ways to address the concerns noted such as postage changes and continue to post positions to staff for their explosive growth which would address concerns with service response time.
In regards to the app itself, I think it is extremely easy to use and if you spend a short amount of time reading the helpful information, you'll soon be an addict yourself. You could also just ask another Posher because most members are more than willing to help each other out. You'll notice that it does take a bit of time to build your followers; it took me a year to get to 20k, but with patience, good cover shots and descriptions, you'll be we'll on your way to some supplemental $$. That is, if you don't spend every penny you sell, purchasing from everyone first!

Five stars for Poshmark App
Poshmark is worth trying! It is hands down, my favorite selling/buying app. I first started using it as an easy way to sell my extra clothing right out of my own closet instead of using a traditional consignment shop. I like the fact that it gives you freedom to set your own price for your items because 20% of your sale earnings goes to Poshmark. Using a photo from your phone or iPad, it takes about a minute to create a listing of your item in your virtual Poshmark closet. I have also been shopping on this app for over a year and consistently found some great deals on authentic designer clothing in many closets. It features Posh Protect for shopping which keeps your payment safe until you notify Poshmark (within 3 days after delivery) that you have received the correct item in the condition which was described. I have found the Poshmark Support team to be very responsive by email when I had questions. Poshmark also has a Suggested Users program, which designates closets that have a solid record of trusted sales. Poshmark has a friendly, no drama, social aspect as well if you want to use it to connect with other fashion lovers all over the US. Several of the Poshmark community members are also fashion bloggers and have amazing, on trend closets to shop! It can become addicting! Check out the Poshmark guidelines and FAQs to get started and have fun!

LOVE this for buying and selling!
PBBNP for $10 off!
I've now sold many items on here and it's been a very pleasant experience. Sure they take 20% but it's a nice way to get rid of things, it's built for a mobile phone (putting an item for sale is fast and easy), and it's worth it for their customer support. I received one item not as described and received a prompt response from customer support and refund when I returned it. I've gotten some cute stuff on here for discounted prices, including authentic Coach boots that have been AMAZING. There are a few bad people (like any site) but the shady people are honestly quite obvious lol so I wouldn't worry about it. Overall, it's my fave app to buy and sell. I've tried Mercari, Vinted, and eBay and this wins by a long shot. In comparison to Mercari, I prefer Poshmark because it is MUCH safer. Every time I sold or bought or Mercari I felt really sketched out (no wonder there's no fees). Vinted was really similar but I feel like Posh was a lot more user friendly and gave more opportunities to sell. I still use eBay, but I usually use eBay to sell electronics and old video games because things like handbags, phone cases, old clothes, jewelry, etc sells better on Posh because it's a more focused market. And as far as buying goes, you can follow favorite brands (I follow Moschino) and you can see newly listed items for that brand. I love it!

Poshmark!
So far so good. I've bought pretty much an entirely new work wardrobe. Around 25 pieces just in tops/blouses. A few sets of pajamas and sweaters. A jean jacket. Several gorgeous sweaters. One pair of shoes. Only one issue with a seller not shipping my item. I waited 11 days as she was initially responsive but then went ahead and cancelled. My money was quickly refunded. All items have been exactly as described. Clean, well maintained beautiful clothing that I paid a portion of the retail price for. Those complaints about PM taking 20% are silly. The backend of this system is pretty incredible. They could make some tweaks to sorting your likes, making it easier to like/unlike (i.e. Double tap like Instagram) but it's a nifty app. I've seen a handful of "designer inspired" and do think Posh needs to crack down on those. It made me decide not to buy any nice handbags etc as there's no real way to know until you get the bag and I'm not a PI nor will I take a handbag to Kate Spade or Gucci and ask them to validate. Too embarrassing! As a seller I've had 30 items listed for a week with some interest but no sales yet. I'm certain it's just a matter of time but worst case I can still take them to Clothes Mentor and/or donate them for the tax deduction. I still ended up with a closet full of gorgeous work clothing. Happy customer here!

It can be a lot of fun
Pros: User-friendly and it's self-selling platform.
I enjoy it because I can negotiate prices, following others is a good way to branch out to new people and brands, another addicting thing about Poshmark is sharing interesting items and Poshmark has some accountability.
Trading can be tricky- so read their reviews and comments before you trade.
Be aware if you decide to follow the seller off of Poshmark they can't protect you- if the item is Faux or as described...
• People will ask you if you are on ♍️ercari or if you've ️ay️al. Tread lightly, I urge you read their reviews- if you decide to go through with it.
♍️ercari is another selling platform not based in the United States. I have read too many complaints- I bypass it all together.
The buyer- If you run into scammers you've to do a lot of running around- take photos and its a hassle.
Seller- it's good to be in the up & up get things authenticated first- then post high-end designers.
Cons: Their fees are 20% and you can't change the shipping. Even if you have a bracelet and you pay 4.99$ shipping that is ludicrous.
• There should be movement in shipping.
My wish for the future- Auctions, Lower their fees or have more flexibility w/ the shipping costs, authentication -charge a flat fee to have something authenticated.

The shopping girls dream!!!
This is the best shopping app ever invented!!! Does not even compare to eBay. It is so much easier to use. List your items the way you want to, communicate in "real time" with customers, negotiate if needed and your item is sold. It motivated me to finally clean out my closet and sell beautiful items that did not fit or I didn't wear. Additionally you can purchase an entire new wardrobe like I did at a fraction of the retail price. I honestly can no longer pay retail prices when I know I can find anything I need or want on poshmark. If you ever have a problem with a purchase posh customer support will take care of the issue if you can't work it out with the seller. The only issues I had were new people using the wrong priority mail box and I had to pay to pick up my item. Posh gave me credit the two times it happened to me. Which is nothing compared to the amount of purchases I have made in 5 months. Fabulous app, I use it every day!!!! I try to add at least one item each day and I continue to customize my "closet" to try to sell more verses buying more. Lastly, it is a really fun way to meet wonderful women from all over the Country. We call them our "stylemates" - they sell our size and we purchase items from each other. I look forward to my "poshing" every single day! Love, love, love it!!!!

I LOVE POSHMARK
I can't believe so many people comment negatively on posh's app. I love it and find it so addicting. I've expanded my VS PINK collection into 1 shirt to about 15 including yoga pants, tops, pullovers, tshirts, perfumes, a pink blanket, shorts, and bras/underwear. You have to look for deals. I can admit, I've dealt with some pretty rude ladies.. But I've also dealt with some very amazing ones! I bought my boyfriend a Ralph Lauren polo pullover for only $35 on here and in stores, it'd be over $60. I can also admit I don't like how much of the money is taken away from you nor how much shipping costs. But it's necessary to pay for shipping regardless and if you don't like the part of them taking a percentage of the money, then you could easily switch to another app that doesn't take a percentage of your money. I trade and have never got scammed, I can truthfully say I nearly did though. Thankfully I was smart enough to see she was fake. I almost stopped using it because of this. Nevertheless, it was hard to stay away from posh. I find the best deals and it's so fun looking for clothes. It's like going shopping everyday and what woman doesn't love shopping? Like everyday?? I would recommend this no doubt so don't let negative reviews change your mind! Try it out, it's worth it!

Not All it's "Packaged" Up to Be!
I've been on Posh now going on 2 years and during that time I've been scammed, stolen from and reported as a bad "posher," but none of that has damaged the reputation I've built with the true friends I met on this app. Although there are a lot of complaints about the commission that is paid, the work we as sellers have to put into the distribution of our sells and the trust we have to put in our buyers, we have made the conscious decision to be a part of this world. I myself am happy that I joined Posh. If you feel that it's not the place for you, and you don't want to be a part of an incredible world of amazing women who come together 3 times a day to party and share the beautiful world of fashion....this app is not for you. If you are the kind of woman that does like fashion and building lifelong friendships, you have come to the right place. The executive women of posh will always be here to look out for you in your time of need, as they have always been there for me, and have never let me down. There is a reason for commission, people have to get paid to help keep a good thing going. I've never met any of these women, but someday maybe I will get an opportunity to do so. They do their best and we should do ours by lifting them up instead of bashing them for a job well done.

Absolutely in love with this app!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If I could give more stars to this app I definitely would!!!!! I lost a lot of weight and had a closet full of clothes that were in excellent condition and wanted to do sell them so I could buy clothes that fit it in my current size I have sold over $600 in three weeks coma and have purchase more items that I can count!!!! I've downloaded other applications but the commitment of the users is not as good as you would expect, and poshmark, the poshers (as they call the users) are very engaged with the page they respond quickly and are very respectful taking pictures that show the actual item they're selling!!! The app is very clear with its rules! Is a very secure app because the money does not get released until the person receive the item, so you feel good that the delivery it's going to be quick and if not you have the opportunity to cancel. Is very upsetting to read negative comments about the app's Commission, since they are just giving you a platform to sell your items quickly and securely it's only fair that they keep a little of the money you make with your item, that helps them to keep operational costs and it helps the app ability to keep updating to fit our needs if you want to sell or purchase women's fashion this is the app for you!!!! Happy shopping!!!!

Favorite app ever!
Poshmark is such a wonderful idea and I feel with these reviews it can only get better! I too think that the parties need to be regulated better. Perhaps there is some sort of way for the posh team to review all items before actually loaded onto the site? I know that sounds like a ton of work and kind of ridiculous but hen maybe people wouldn't have to report things as often and the parties would run smoother? I like the use of the filter button and think maybe if we could use it on a closet too that would solve searching through closets with 500 items a lot easier. If you have an iPad the overall experience using Poshmark is better. I seriously bought an iPad after seeing Poshmark on being used only once on one. I wish there was a way to advertise that. It could possibly benefit the company..linking up with apple? I tell almost very so,am I meet about this app because I have seriously been making $100 a week for the past couple months and words can't describe how amazing that feels and all the money spent helping other ladies just makes me happy. I have received some of the nicest item that I would have never been able to buy before using Poshmark. It is truly only app I care about because your not just selling your socializing!

Game/LifeChanger!
I adore shopping! What I adore even more is Poshmark. I write tech reviews of apps. Also, I am a mother of a toddler. There is no greater pleasure than to be able to shop when I want where I want for what I want. Poshmark is a gamechanger. I have some incredible goods that I could not afford right now because of Posh. Best of all, I make good money to support my habit--and then some! I love the idea of this app. It is seamless. It gives me security to buy luxury and brandname goods without fretting over authenticity. Posh backs up purchases and is quick to respond to any seller attempting to scam, etc. I am all about preaching the gospel
according to Poshmark! Please try this for yourself. Yes, people complain about the 20% cut Posh takes. My response is that is no cut! That is an advantage that allows me to shop and sell in a deliberate and painless manner, knowing what I am receiving will be of good quality. I am the biggest Posh advocate, I swear! You could not convince me that someone loves this app more! Watch my family and friends as I spread this good news everywhere I go, wear my new finds, gush with pride at my scored deals, AND make money on things I own but no longer use. Please tell me what is not to love??

The app that changed my life
I started with Poshmark over 2 yrs ago with some barely used items for sale... and now, almost $50k later, this app has become a second income for me. The social aspect of the app has been enlightening and I have met so many life long friends that I can't even name them all. No, everything about the app isn't perfect, but show me one that is. Commission of 20% is minimal in my opinion, as you WON'T find a consignment shop OR be able to open your own website and generate as much traffic to your closet for less money...I promise. The app & process does take effort on your part (sharing & following) but yet again, try operating an actual store or website and see how much effort that takes. If u want to compare to vinted, I sell on both platforms & vinted seems to be geared towards teens...no offense, but not my cup of tea. For those who say customer service on PM is bad, I don't know what's happening with you, I've had ZERO problems at all with CS. Yes, people will try to lowball you, but you don't have to sell to them...just say no and move on. I love the app and the people behind it. Always have, & always will. Thanks Poshmark for giving me the platform to expand my horizons! Here's to many more years with you guys!

Much better than Mercari
Yes, they are better than Mecari, customer service is fast, you get your money 3dsts after us delivered (it's automatic release) so you don't have to wait until buyer finally decide to give you rating so you can get your money (like on Mercari). Yes, people sell fakes but you don't have to buy them, most of them states non auth.. You have more options: bundle, advertisement of your closet, free item with purchase, or trades, Posh allows to do it, Mercari doesn't... And Posh has a flat shipping fee up to 5lbs, Mercari doesn't have it and their postage system is messed up cuz it shows cubic inches instead of weight on the label.. Overall, I think it's a great up, only negative think is that they charge 20% commission on no matter what you buy or sell. But sometimes they offer .99 shipping. So it's your choice, in my opinion it's also graphically better designed than other selling app. I have been here for a while, had Mercari too but waiting for money drove me crazy, one time I waited 10days, it's just crazy!!! On Pos you can find cheap item but also high end items also and the best part is that Posh offers concierge service for $500 and up so you don't have to worry if you buy an authentic item! That's awesome!!

Love the App
I've bought & sold tons of things on Posh & love it. But Posh could make some changes to improve the App though: (1) I wish I could put my closet on vacation like I can my Etsy Shop. It's difficult after the fact to deal w/frustrated buyers & people w/questions when on vacation, because there's no way to pause or close your closet temporarily. And no matter how many "listings" I put up saying "On Vacation", no one reads them. They look at individual items through the search feature usually. If I could even bulk edit all listings to say "On Vacation" in the title, that would be a big help. I have way too many listings to do them all individually. (2) Please lower the fees! It's next to impossible to sell lower priced items, because Posh charges the seller 20%, and the minimum shipping charge to buyers is $5.95! That kills a lot of sales! (3) I should be able to move items around within my closet. The only way to move things around, move Sold items to the bottom of the closet for example, is to share or edit them. It gets more & more time consuming the more items you have. I wish there was a button to push that says "move to bottom" or something.

ADDICTIVE!!!
I absolutely love this app, I consider it a second job and am enjoying selling and connecting with other buyers/sellers. The app is very easy to navigate. 100% five star rating!! Some feedback to make the app easier - the follow button should be bigger so it doesn't bring you to the persons profile, there should be a way to see if someone is following you back, I'd like to see the number of shares on an item like seeing how many likes it has, there should be a way to search active buyers as well as active sellers, I'd like an option to follow someone back without clicking on their profile in the news section or at least see if you're already following them, I'd like to be able to share like or comment on something just holding the thumbnail (like Pinterest), and I'd like to be able to scroll through closets seeing how many likes something has (like how Instagram has a thumbnail view and larger view), I'd also love to be able to zoom into pictures and brighten images (no filters no manipulate just brightness), and I'd love to see some sort of shipping sale more frequently and different shipping prices based on the item or price of the item
Marinaa37 - ★★★★★ 2016-04-13
Awesome app.
As an app, this app is so user friendly both on the sellers side and the buyers side. You can quickly set up your account to do both: selling & buying; or just one of them. I do both and I have had great experiences & made friends with buyer & sellers. I do buy more than I sell because some deals are really good. My goal is to buy at more affordable prices clothing. If I can sell, my items kudos to me. You need to apply all of Posh's policies and you will be fine. Posh warns you for example not to do PayPal and not to do your own shipping label, by doing so they cannot track the buyers nor the sellers transactions in order to keep both seller and buyer safe. Like everything you need to be cautious. Third: things I would like: first add clothing for kids and second an easier way to bookmark closet(s) in other words there are a few closet with your size and style. So you save is the link to such closets instead of going through all your likes to find them. Third: some conversations to be kept private from the rest, but Poshmark can still monitor them to keep sellers and buyers safe. Please please!!

Poshmark Platform Magically Appeared
Sheesh. Do you really think the poshmark platform just magically appeared? No engineers involved? No legal team? No support staff? These people need to make a salary. And they deserve to profit from all their hard work building us this awesome site.
People griping about the 20% really get my goat. (And it's a nice even-tempered goat usually!) I've paid poshmark over 40,000. In commission fees in the last three years and I'm not the least bit bitter. I wouldn't have made anything selling clothes otherwise. 20% for use of their awesome platform and for the protections they offer is soooo worth it. I've had packages go astray/missing and poshmark reimbursed me. (That's just one more thing our commission goes towards) They have always responded and helped me with any issue.
And it's not like they WANT to raise shipping costs. That's what they had to do as USPS had a rate change.
Sorry for the harshness in tone of this review, it just floors me how people can't grasp what it takes to develop and operate a business.
Thank you for all your awesomeness, Poshmark.

Perfectly Posh!!!
Wonder why Poshmark is THE premier app for women's fashion and accessories??? Because NO other app promotes and achieves the incredible level of community spirit that Poshmark has achieved. Women not only clearing their closets, but also supporting and helping each other is what keeps this app so much fun and profitable for everyone. Great deals for the buyers, extra cash for the seller, super easy shipping- it can't get any better than this!! Nearly 3 years on the app as both a buyer and seller and it is still by far my favorite app out there!
Craig's list puts you in a vulnerable position of having strangers come to your home or meet up at some location that could be potentially dangerous. eBay has "surprise" charges at the end of the month, then more surprise charges for PayPal, wait- they started adding charges on the shipping that you already paid for! Posh total 20% commission comes directly out of each sale- no surprises!
My daughter calls me a "Posh Pusher" and there is definitely a reason- you will be, too! Give it a try, you have nothing to loose!!

A Poshmark Addiction
I signed up to sell on Poshmark (PM) over a year and a half ago and in that time I have not only discovered some amazing women who are creative, fashion savvy, and warm hearted (who happen to have pretty awesome closets!) but also managed to sell many of my own items and made a little cash on the side!! Side note is that I've also developed something of an addiction to this app & I am not alone!! I love this app, consider it one of my favorite apps and will never be without PM again! Now if I sound like I might like PM a little too much, it's only because you haven't experience the hours and hours of attending Posh parties (complete with some really glamorous attendees and outfits!) as well as simply delving into the closets of other fellow Poshers--its a sea of clothing & style many of us have drowned in & the fact is that sometimes we do get a little lost along the way. It's okay though because as long as the community continues to grow (and believe me, it is pretty large already!) I'll always know that my Poshmark fix is just a click away...

Great--Made Tons
Ok. Poshmark has it's ups and downs. More goods than bads though. I really hate the idea of them taking 20%--this makes the seller sell it for more and posh kinda losses it's purpose for cheap and low prices for top notch brands. Also as posh takes 20% I figure why not just go through paypal or concealed cash? You get what you gave...am I right? I wish poshmark would make these changes:
Add a color tab for when searching
Make a new category like bikinis/swimsuits
Please please Make a wanted section where people say what they want! This way people can easily find what they want and sellers can see if their item is on there!
Please do private messaging! Some information I give out is information I don't wanna share with the whole world.
I think it be cool to have a button that shared every listing in your closet.
It also would be great if you added a feature where you could go through listing in someone's closet as you were scrolling through...like the home page how you scroll and it shows every individual item!
Thanks! _carabram_
