By clicking on the icon, I can obtain a quick overview of the highlights of domestic and international events from the perspective of CNN.

It is overall user-friendly and has a list of articles with a brief abstract. There are ads that one can easily ignore.

It is a good app for those interested in a quick update during breaks or lunches, and has frequent updates.

I will admit I am a news junkie. And the first thing I do every morning, after I check my fitness tracker, is to open the CNN site on my phone. CNN gives you features in a way that I can quickly Scan updates, and then read details if I want more. I trust CNN to give me balanced political news, so important with the craziness that's happening in our country today.

Proving to be a much better news app then my local news versions. Nowhere near as many annoying ads either. Only thing is I really wish that they would allow you to view live broadcasts like the local news apps do. Granted, you have the option, but you have to sign in to like AT&T service or Time Warner etc. Other than that, it's been a real pleasure to have.

The app runs smoothly and ideas stream without problem. Naturally, the CNN articles are interesting and cover the top stories in a professional journalistic fashion.
App notifications help you stay informed on crucial events as they unfold.
Overall, the app is efficient in what it does (bringing the news) and reliable with no crashes and smooth operation.

I recommend this app to friends and family for accurate up to date news coverage when away from home. If more people watched the news instead of complaining, I believe the world would start to look a lot different to those folks and we have a better chance of learning from past mistakes in history instead of repeating them. Educate yourselves people!!!

I use CNN to catch up on world news daily. Many complain about the app being glitchy, but as long as you don't watch videos, the app works very well. Additionally, CNN usually reports "Breaking Stories" a few minutes before Fox News is able to report them. Using this in tandem with Fox News, one can cover all the bases of world news.

I really like this app. I work a lot and don't have a chance to watch news so CNN keeps me updated through out the day, all day long. It's great to check out top headlines and also pull up certain clips from a episode. Never have had any issues with CNN app at all! Thanks for keeping us updated with the best coverage in news!!

CNN app is a great way to have the news at your fingertips. I especially like the "breaking news" alerts, so I know immediately if something important is going on in the world. The new feature of having the option on most stories to read AND watch a video about a story gives me more information on a story than other news apps.

I use the CNN app a few times every day to keep up with the latest news. Each revision has made it better to use and more entertaining. My only suggestion would be to have full text for every story that only has a video clip because in a noisy place such as a restaurant, I only want to read and look at pictures.

the app has a simpler interface from before. In their effort to make the application have a rich interface it had become very buggy and crashed often but it is more stable now. The content is great and CNN is of course a great news source. As an app it is very much improved from what it was in 2012.

I always fell at home because what I normally watch at home can eventually, be viewed whilst I am away from home. More grease to your elbow. I recommend to all news loving individuals who wants to watch TV on the go ;should download cnn app for their comfort. Now, streaming perfectly than before.

To check in quickly on current happenings in the USA and around the world, I go to CNN -- usually twice a day. Scrolling through the headlines is easy. However, beginning the app material with video is not desirable to me, as dialing in sound in my workplace is not allowed. Overall, great app!

CNN didn't amazing job with the new version of this application. The way it looks on the new and improved, larger screens of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ is amazing! The videos are flawless and it looks better than it would if you were watching it on TV. Keep up the great work! Highly recommend!!

Great for keep up to date on current events for those without much time to watch the news. Sends you notifications for important updates on everything from world news to big sports games. Also has an article "Five things to know for your new day" every morning that is concise yet informative!

I love getting the alerts with breaking news it helps me stay in the know about what is happening right away.
I don't like watching the news because I have a 2 year old and don't want her seeing anything inappropriate. I can also spend much less time getting my news this way. Thanks CNN!

Why are people using an APPLICATION rating platform to rant about their political views. Crybabies, rate the app not CNN!!!! I love the app because I get breaking news notifications right to my Apple Watch. Don't be angry because one party is a joke and CNN reports it. SMH...

I can't get the up to date news while at work. Some of my coworkers and I gather around and they say bring up CNN and let's find out what going on in the world. For that short time we talk and communicate about topics stories that move us. Love it

My #1 source of news is my CNN app! I wish they had a good search option and a database to locate old news stories. But other than that, not a single complaint!! I check this app 20 times a day. Thank you CNN for keeping this busy family connected to the rest of the world!

Latest update has left it unusable. Just crashes and won't even open. A pity because it was very good I thought. Please fix.

CNN is a great app to keep you updated with headlines. It gives you access to tons of articles. I am really happy with this app. You can silence the alerts popping on the main screen that way they don't bother you, but the alerts are not that often either. Excellent!
