Absolutely love it

Its the BEST way (a blessing I've been wishing for) ....
Its an excellent solution to - How do I keep in contact with my neighbors and local community, if I dont know them, and want to reach out?? THE ANSWER: NEXTDOOR!!!
Having lived here for 46 years, people come and go, and its awkward to get to know neighbors... Nextdoor has solved that issue, AND is incredibly effective when an alert needs to go out to neighbors!
Examples: cleaning lady let cat out now she is missing (3 hours later shes found because immediate neighbors got alert and looked out)....a break in a couple homes down from us....alert on Next door and neighbors contacted sheriffs with info and things they saw (but never knew it was important) till they got message about crime on Nextdoor.
Its genius, and I am so thankful to finally have a way to communicate with neighbors Ive never met (but my neighbors nonetheless!)!!!!
Its oddly comforting to connect by Nextdoor, without all the awkwardness of having to spend time in person.
So totally effective, Ive deactivated my facebook because nextdoor does what i need. Facebooknis overkill for me.
