Home and Happy

We are very happy in the neighborhood we moved into here in Las Vegas some twenty years ago.
The area here in this part of the southwest USA is constructed with homes on property that is surrounded by 5.5 foot concrete walls. This all a product of the 1969s, 70s, and 80s Privacy times. The walls keep most of the desert critters out. The walls do not promote socialization of the folks next door much less the whole neighborhood.
Along came the opportunity to become the Braewood Valley community on line. What an absolute boom this is to us. People now share good and bad things, the talk, meet together among our neighborhood group and other groups in our area. The entire pulse of where we live is more upbeat, friendly. and alert.
This holds so true when it comes to crime, criminals, and suspicious people who are not our neighbors. Of course it is your choice to join or not. For my family and I it was the best thing to do.
It is always good to gain knowledge and through opinions and debate we learn and change ourselves. The experiences with having an on line neighborhood have built a much better neighborhood aura. If for no other reason than that there is safety in numbers this would be a winner. Next Door is people communicating and that is the best
