State of the art official Race Of Champions mobile racing game coming to iOS and Android mobile devices.

Fans of the yearly Race Of Champions event and race game fans in general can look forward to what specialists see as the most technologically advanced racing game on mobile platforms.

IMP, organisers of the Race Of Champions, have concluded an agreement to co-publish a state of the art racing game together with racing game specialist Invictus. The game, to be launched October ahead of the 2011 ROC event held in December in Düsseldorf, will be available on iTunes and Android app stores.

The game will include tracks and cars from different editions of the renowned event with tarmac and off-road racing. The different game modes will let players compete against friends and challenge players to beat the times of the actual participating champions.

About the Race Of Champions

The Race Of Champions is a knockout tournament where the world's greatest drivers battle to prove they're the fastest on Earth.

Through a series of head-to-head races in identical cars on a parallel track, the stars fight it out to prove they have what it takes to be crowned 'Champion of Champions'.
Cars are swapped round between heats to ensure all drivers have to prove themselves in a variety of machinery.

For the racers, then, there's no place to hide. It's a knockout tournament so mistakes prove terminal -- and the drivers have to prove themselves in a variety of vehicles. But there's no blaming the machinery because everyone gets the same kit. Put simply, the best driver will win.

That's why the likes of Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel and Jenson Button come back year on year.
